How not to is the first song I have shared with you. The question behind it is philosophical: can we avoid falling in love?
Against the thesis of the song, probably yes. Probably we can be fully rational, avoid the person in question and move forward. Fortunately we can fall in love again and again.

The song assumes that you may meet somebody who is so amazing that loving that person is inevitable. Maybe you cannot avoid the presence of that person, maybe s/he is a friend, a co-worker, a friend of a friend, such is life.
You meet people in life with characteristics who make them loveable, no doubt.
And love can operate like a drug, and you do not want falling out of love.
